This hotel is in a good location, and our room was spacious and roomy. However it’s let down by the staff - barring the very nice guy on the door who helped with luggage, no one else seems interested. The hotel is having some work done and I presume the workman are staying in the room beneath us, so we’ve endured the smell of cigarettes while they smoke downstairs during our entire stay. We’ve told reception a number of times, but nothing has been done about it. Really disappointing when you’re supposedly in a non smoking hotel with a young child

Never again avoid. Booked this hotel for my wife’s birthday present the hotel was old and dated. Our room had carpet that was worn and threaded. We had a room along road side, non stop smokers and talking from people outside. Breakfast like warm. To top it off the day before we left they decided to rip up all the stair carpets and left it n an unsafe and disgusting state. When we complained reception didn’t care I had to send photos to reception as they didn’t show any care in looking for themselves. Avoid terrible and disappointing.

Extremely pleasant 3 night stay here. Comfortable bed, quiet room, very clean and plenty of space. We arrived 3 hours before check in and the reception staff were very accommodating, they allowed us to check in early and gave us a free room upgrade! Perfect location for walking into the city (5-10 mins) but far away enough to get a good nights sleep. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

We originally booked a basement room by accident but I managed to get it upgraded to an executive room in time through easyjet who we booked with. We arrived early and asked to drop our bags off which was fine, they then said our room would be ready at 3pm. So we went and explored the city and came back at about 4pm only to be told the room was not ready. They offered us a drink in the bar in the next room. We waited there for about 5 minutes and suddenly a room was ready for us. We went up to our room and my goodness it was lovely!!!! Such a big and spacious room! Lovely big mirrors! The bathroom was also lovely too. The bed was lovely and big and comfy. Room was clean and even provided robes and slippers. The bathroom radiator did not work which was not helpful as it was torrential rain every day and we got drenched every single day. The only main downside was the noise of the traffic/lorries/binmen outside every morning. Night time it was quite though. On Google maps everything looks super far away but in reality everything was actually really close, especially the city centre. When we checked out they allowed us to keep our bags there again so we could explore the city more before catching our evening flight. Top tip; get a return bus ticket from the airport to the hotel which is valid for 7/14 days so you can also use it on the way back too depending on your length of stay as it was a return ticket. I think it was about €11 if I remember correctly.

The worst hotel experience I have ever had in my 45 years of life. I would urge anyone who is thinking of booking this awful excuse of a hotel to re-think your decision. It ruined our Amsterdam experience. I took my frustration to a Facebook Group that reviews hotels in Amsterdam - and I could not believe how many others experienced similar!!! If I had seen any of the reviews before arriving I would never have even checked in. I am disgusted by the front of house staff, the “manager” who was 100% not the manager as we had already spoken to the manager the previous day. Oh and not to mention - THEY SCAM!!!!!!
